Located at 7,600 feet on Cibola National Forest, Red Canyon has 39 sites split between lower and upper loops. Upper loop has 11 sites with equestrian corrals and parking for horse trailers; lower has 28 sites. All sites feature tables; vault toilets provided. No potable water. Upper loop operates year-round; lower loop April–November. $10/night single sites, $12/night equestrian sites. RVs over 22 feet not allowed. Access via Forest Road 253 west of Manzano. Manzano Wilderness accessible via Red and Spruce Canyon trails.
