Jemez Falls Picnic Area sits at 7,880 feet in a pine forest within Santa Fe National Forest. Built to host up to 50 day-use visitors, the site features an accessible picnic shelter, tables, large grills, vault toilets, and a parking area. A trailhead on site leads directly to Jemez Falls, which cascades 70 feet over a rocky cliff, and continues on to McCauley Warm Springs. Visitors can also fish for stocked trout along the nearby Jemez River or take short drives to San Diego Canyon Overlook, Valles Caldera, and Bandelier National Monument.
