Panchuela Campground sits at 8,300 feet elevation in the Santa Fe National Forest along Panchuela Creek at the edge of the Pecos Wilderness. The site features six walk-in tent campsites shaded by aspen and conifer trees, with four situated along the creek bank. Three sites include three-sided shelters with indoor fireplaces and picnic tables. Facilities in the parking area include hand-pumped drinking water spigots, vault restrooms, and trash bins. The Panchuela Trailhead provides direct access to backcountry hiking, with fishing spots along the creek and nearby Pecos River.
