Located 16 miles north of Pecos on NM 63 and 1 mile down Forest Road 646, this primitive dispersed camping area provides basic facilities, including a pit toilet, picnic tables, and a few fire pits. Potable water is not available on site.
Road difficulty 4 of 5 -- a difficult drive in. Recorded as maintained only for high-clearance vehicles, dirt, pitching to 10%, 70% of it on a shelf.
Rosilla Peak stands 2,465 ft above the site, 2.6 miles southeast. Willow Creek runs 0.6 mi off. The nearest town, Tesuque, is 15 mi off.
