Gallo Campground sits inside Chaco Culture National Historical Park, set in a tree-less high desert landscape flanked by the boulders and cliff walls of Gallo Wash. Ancient petroglyphs, inscriptions, and a cliff dwelling are located right at the campground, with main ruin sites accessible along the park loop road.
