Setting
Riana Campground sits atop a 150-foot bluff overlooking Abiquiu Lake on the Rio Chama in northern New Mexico. Surrounded by colorful rock formations, piñon pine, juniper, and sage, the terrain features views of Cerro Pedernal mesa. The facility holds 52 campsites, including 13 with electric and water hookups, alongside tent pads, picnic shelters, grills, lantern posts, flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a playground, and a dump station. A public boat ramp for lake access is located one mile away. Regional points of interest include Ghost Ranch, ten minutes away, and nearby Santa Fe.
Getting there: From Espanola, NM, travel 30 miles north on US Highway 84. Turn west on to State Highway 96 and continue 1 mile to the Riana Campground entrance.
