Setting
Pines Campground is located at an elevation of 8,700 feet within the Lincoln National Forest near Cloudcroft. The layout consists of paved roads and paved parking spurs built for tents and RVs, set in a dense pine forest. On-site facilities include picnic tables, grills, fire rings, water spigots, and vault toilets. Nearby terrain features views of the White Sands National Park salt flats, alongside forest trails such as the Osha Trail, Little Apache Trail, and Old Cloudcroft Highway Trail.
Getting there: Travel east on US82 from Cloudcroft, turn left onto NM244. Less than 1 mile later on your left you will find the entrance to Pines Campground (across the street from the Fir Campgrounds).
