Juniper Family Campground sits on the Pajarito Plateau just inside the main entrance of Bandelier National Monument. It features three loops with paved individual sites and tent-only group sites. Each site provides a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and food locker. Amenities include comfort stations with restrooms and running water, potable water spigots, an amphitheater, and a seasonal RV dump station, though no hookups are present. Two trails lead directly from camp into Frijoles Canyon and to the Tyuonyi Overlook. A seasonal shuttle stops on site for access to the visitor center.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
