Rob Jaggers Camping Area is a high-desert staging site in Fort Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area. Sitting at 6,300 feet among cedar, juniper, and ponderosa pine, the area features 27 first-come, first-served campsites equipped with electricity and potable water hookups. On-site facilities include vault toilets, hitching rails, livestock water, two day-use parking areas, and a group shelter. It serves as the primary hub for 73 miles of multi-use trails through open meadows and canyons, including the 2.1-mile Rio Bonito Petroglyph Trail leading to ancient rock art.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
