Climbs 2,700 ft over 12.6 miles through 12 switchbacks, with sustained grades near 12% and pitches to 21%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~130 ft on the downhill side. Dead-end road with no mapped turnaround, so expect to back out or unhitch. A water crossing 2.3 miles in.
Nogal Peak stands 2,257 ft above the site, 2.2 miles north. Bear Creek runs 0.1 mi off. A well-travelled stretch, with camps along here. Private here, with the nearest through road 1.0 miles off.
