Gila National Forest, Reserve Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 14-day limit in any 30 days.

7.5 of the 18 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 7.5 miles of dirt. Level ground alongside most of its length. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Water crossings 2.3, 2.5, 7.7, 14 and 17 miles in. A cattle guard 15.1 miles in.
