Oak Flat Group Picnic Site is a paved day-use area at 7,660 feet, surrounded by ponderosa pine, oak, and piñon. The site features three distinct reservable group picnic areas—Oak, Locust, and Yucca—that combined can hold large gatherings, featuring tables, grills, CCC-replica shelters, vault toilets, and four shared playing fields. There is no water, electricity, or overnight camping. An on-site trailhead provides small-trailer parking and direct access to the Manzanita Mountain trail system for hiking, mountain biking, and dirt bikes.
