Capulin Spring is a day-use group picnic facility located at 8,740 feet in the Sandia Mountains. The site features a replica 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps covered shelter, six accessible picnic tables, serving tables, charcoal grills, paved pathways, and vault toilets. A natural year-round spring on the property attracts local bird species. Short hiking paths, including the 0.6-mile Capulin Peak Trail, start near the site, leading past old mining ruins up toward the mountain summit.
