Located along the Wild Ammonoosuc River, this wooded campground offers 26 non-reservable sites with gravel pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. Facilities include dumpster service and accessible vault toilets with cold-water faucets, though there are no hookups or dump stations. Across from the campground sits a historic Civilian Conservation Corps picnic pavilion with views of Mt. Moosilauke, while local wildlife like moose frequent the riverbanks.
Getting there: Wildwood Campground and Picnic Area is off Route 112, approximately 4 miles west of Lost River Reservation near Kinsman Notch and 9 miles from the town of North Woodstock. From 93 take Exit 32.
