Jigger Johnson Campground in NH

Jigger Johnson Campground is a large, popular Forest Service campground situated in the scenic White Mountain National Forest along the Swift River. It features 75 first-come, first-served campsites with modern amenities including flush toilets and coin-operated hot showers. The site offers convenient access to the historic Russell-Colbath homestead and nearby hiking trails. Heavily wooded sites offer decent separation, though it remains a busy location during peak season. All loops and parking spurs are paved. This campground is closed seasonally outside the summer/early autumn months.
