Set within the badlands of Oglala National Grassland, Toadstool Geologic Park is known for its eroded sandstone and clay rock formations and rich fossil deposits. The campground offers 12 sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and upright grills, along with two accessible vault toilets and a replica 1930s sod house. There is no drinking water on site. Three hiking routes start at the camp, including an interpretive loop and the 3-mile Bison Trail leading to the Hudson-Meng Education and Research Center.
