Roundup Horse Campground is a group facility in the badlands terrain of Theodore Roosevelt National Park's South Unit, set near the Little Missouri River among seasonal cottonwood trees. Operating from May through October, the site accommodates up to 30 people and 20 horses, offering gravel parking pads, picnic tables, and toilets. Equestrian campers and hikers have immediate access to around 70 miles of park trails, with water fill stations available nearby.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

Private here -- the nearest through road is 0.7 miles off, a single-site campground. A group campground -- most of them shaded. Little Missouri River runs 0.7 mi off. The nearest town, Dickinson, is 35 mi off.
