Fairly secluded
Set within the Uwharrie off-highway vehicle (OHV) trail system, this area allows dispersed camping as well as RVs and campers. The site includes a vault toilet, but lacks hookups and drinking water. Surrounding orange-diamond marked trails cater to off-highway vehicles, while street-legal vehicles can use the Forest Service roads. The OHV trail network closes seasonally from December 15 to April 1.
