A 4.9-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Macon County, NC. The road serves Brooks Creek Falls. The road is open seasonally, March 15 to December 31.
All 4.9 miles in are maintained for passenger cars. Gravel the whole way in (4.9 miles). Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 12 switchbacks. Gates 3.8 and 3.9 miles in.
