All 6 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (6 miles). Climbs 1,400 ft over 6 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 25%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 11 switchbacks.

Secluded here -- the nearest through road is 2.4 miles off. Daisy Creek runs 0.2 mi off. Marmot Peak stands 3,318 ft above the site, 5.5 miles southwest. The nearest town, Thompson Falls, is 18 mi off.
