Cascade Campground is located in a canyon bottom along the Scenic Byway, shaded by Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, and western larch trees. The facility has 11 back-in campsites accommodating RVs up to 35 feet, plus one group site. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. On-site amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, and garbage service. Across the highway, visitors can access a primitive boat ramp on the Clark Fork River. The Iron Mountain Trailhead and Cascade Falls Overlook Trail are right next to the camp.
All 0.2 miles in are maintained for passenger-car comfort. Paved the whole way in (0.2 miles).
