A 17.5-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Ravalli County, MT. The road serves Big Creek Trailhead. The road is open seasonally, June 16 to October 14.

6.7 of the 17.5 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 6.7 miles of dirt. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~170 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 24 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.
