Located in the Little Rockies, Camp Creek Recreation Area includes 20 camping units across its main campground and Horse Corral Campground, alongside the Buffington Day Use Area. Facilities feature picnic shelters, tables, fire rings, restrooms, drinking water, and garbage collection. An on-site trail system connects directly to the main campground for hiking, birding, and OHV riding. The area is a recognized Watchable Wildlife site and a designated stop on Montana's Northeastern Plains Birding Trail, with several bass and trout fisheries located within a 30-minute drive.
Getting there: From U.S. Highway 191 take the 7-mile Road (7 miles) or Bear Gulch Road (7 miles) to the campground entrance. Signs mark both turns off of Hwy 191.
