A 5.8-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Mineral County, MT. The road is open seasonally, June 16 to March 31.

All 5.8 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 2.6 miles of dirt. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 8 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.

St. Regis River runs 0.1 mi off. Haugan Mountain stands 1,659 ft above the site, 2.2 miles west. A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Thompson Falls, is 15 mi off.
