Fairview Ranger Station is a 900-square-foot historic cabin built in 1908 along Wolf Creek in the Salish Mountains of Kootenai National Forest. Accessible by car, the cabin sleeps six people using one double bed and two twin beds upstairs, plus a double futon and twin futon downstairs. Kitchen amenities include a propane stove, refrigerator, heater, lights, table, dishes, pots, and cooking tools, with an outdoor vault toilet nearby. There is no electricity or potable water on site, so guests must bring their own drinking water, bedding, dish soap, and trash bags.
