Setting
This campground contains 38 campsites at the northern end of Canyon Ferry Reservoir between the Big Belt and Elkhorn mountain ranges. Sites are suited for smaller rigs, with many unable to fit RVs over 20 feet. Facilities include gravel roads, picnic tables, fire rings, seasonal vault toilets, potable water, and trash service. The surrounding reservoir is a former 1850s gold rush hub.
Getting there: Heading north along MT highway 12/287, drive north to Spokane Creek Rd and turn right Yellow flashing light. Follow Spokane Creek Rd for 4.6 mi and turn right onto Co Rd 430/Canyon Ferry Rd and continue on to Chinamen's Campground. The campground will be on the right.
