Setting
Aspen Grove Group Campground occupies a dedicated section of forested land along the Blackfoot River in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. Shaded by cottonwood, aspen, pine, and fir, the site holds up to 75 people across one primary living space and three smaller connected satellite areas. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, a vault toilet, drinking water, and parking for up to 8 RVs plus passenger cars. Campers visit to fly fish for trout on the Blackfoot River or hike nearby routes like the Continental Divide Trail and Scapegoat Wilderness trailheads.
Getting there: From Lincoln, Montana, take State Route 200 east for 6.5 miles to the campground sign. Turn right at the sign, onto a gravel road, and go .5 miles to campground. After entering the campground facility, follow the signs to the Group Use area at the far eastern edge of the campground
