West Shore State Park occupies 129 forested acres on Flathead Lake's rocky west shore, featuring glacially carved dolomite outcroppings and mature fir, pine, and larch trees with views of the Swan and Mission mountain ranges. The campground offers 33 sites (including 7 tent-only and wheelchair-accessible) with electrical hookups, bear-resistant storage lockers, vault toilets, fire rings, and seasonal potable water May through September. A deep-water boat launch operates ice-free year-round, and Tour Glacier operates a concessionaire offering kayak, paddleboard, and pedal boat rentals June through Labor Day. Located 6 miles south of Lakeside on Highway 93, the park serves as a gateway for swimming, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing.
