Lake Mary Ronan State Park sits in a boreal forest seven miles west of Flathead Lake at 3,770 feet elevation, featuring Douglas Fir and Western Larch creating shaded camping areas off the beaten path. The 120-acre park contains 25 campsites with seasonal electricity through October, vault toilets, bear-resistant storage lockers, fire rings, picnic tables, and ADA-accessible group camping area. The centerpiece lake features a boat launch and dock (available during open water) and is renowned as an angler's destination for kokanee salmon, yellow perch, and largemouth bass. Hiking trails, boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and wildlife viewing are available; ice fishing is popular seasonally. Flathead Lake, one of Montana's premier outdoor recreation areas, lies just 7 miles distant.
