Sheepshead Pavilion is an open-air day-use event shelter capable of accommodating groups up to 200 people. On-site facilities include picnic tables, barbecue grills, drinking water, vault toilets, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, a ball field, and a paved walking trail. There is no electrical hookup at the shelter. The surrounding area features nature trails and additional paved paths for walking.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
