Campground details
Setting
Set along the shores of Hungry Horse Reservoir surrounded by Rocky Mountain peaks, this campground features 20 gravel-spur campsites for tents and RVs. Facilities include individual picnic tables, fire rings with grills, accessible vault toilets, two hand pumps for drinking water, an on-site host, and a concrete boat ramp inside the loop. Visitors come to boat, swim, and fish for cutthroat trout on the 27,750-acre reservoir, with the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park located 31 miles to the northeast.
Getting there: From Martin City, Montana, turn off Highway 2 and continue on the main road through the town heading south. This road becomes East Side Reservoir Road. Continue for about 22 miles to the campground.
