Lid Creek Campground sits along the shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir in Flathead National Forest at an elevation of 3,600 feet. The property features 22 campsites set in a mixed conifer forest, accommodating both tent and RV campers with a mix of reservable and walk-up sites. Every site comes equipped with a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill. Vault toilets are located on-site, but drinking water is not provided. Visitors can launch into water activities on the 27,750-acre reservoir or access hiking and biking trails that wind along the shoreline.

Getting there: Lid Creek Campground is located 15 miles south of Hungry Horse, Montana, on the West Side Reservoir Road 895. To find the West Side Reservoir Road, turn off of Highway 2 just past milepost 144. Take the paved West Side Reservoir Road across the Hungry Horse Dam and continue for another 11 miles to the campground. The West Side Reservoir Road is narrow with many switchbacks. Not suitable for larger RV's. Please use caution.
