Setting
Fish Creek Campground is a heavily forested 178-site facility on the western shore of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. The layout offers spaced campsites for tents and RVs, with select sites providing views across the lake. Amenities include potable water spigots, restrooms with flush toilets and running water, and an amphitheater for ranger-led evening programs. The campground sits near the Rocky Point Trail, which winds through a burned forest area, and provides convenient access to the park's network of over 700 miles of hiking trails.
