Lost Creek State Park in MT -- Campground & RV Camping in Montana

Lost Creek State Park encompasses 502 acres at 6,211 feet elevation in a dramatic canyon framed by grey limestone cliffs and pink-and-white granite formations rising 1,200 feet. The centerpiece is Lost Creek Falls, cascading over a 50-foot drop, with Forest Service trails winding several miles along the creek through forests and meadows. The campground provides 25 sites on a first-come, first-served basis (max 23-foot trailers) with vault toilets, water access, grills, fire rings, and ADA accessibility. A camp host is present from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park operates mid-May through November.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Stucky Ridge stands 2,722 ft above the site, 2.9 miles west. Night skies measure Bortle 2 -- true dark-sky territory. The nearest town, Anaconda-Deer Lodge County, is 10 mi off.
