Setting
Located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Lodgepole Campground sits under slender lodgepole pines across the highway from Georgetown Lake. The facility offers 29 sites for tent and RV camping. While there is no direct water access from the campsites, campers receive complimentary use of the Red Bridge Boat Launch located within walking distance. The surrounding 3,000-acre lake and nearby mountains draw visitors for boating, canoeing, trout and salmon fishing, as well as hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking on trails throughout the district.
Getting there: From Philipsburg travel 10.75 miles south on State Highway 1. The campground is directly across the highway from Georgetown Lake and Red Bridge Boat Launch.
