Sage Creek Cabin sits in a draw above Sage Creek at the foot of Big Pryor Mountain in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Built in 1892 as a line cabin, the structure is set in a high desert landscape dominated by exposed Madison Limestone and nearby Douglas fir forests. The cabin offers electricity, two living spaces, a wood stove, and two bedrooms with four total twin bunk beds. An ADA ramp leads into the kitchen and main living areas, while a vault toilet sits 50 feet outside. Guests must bring their own water and firewood. Big Ice Cave and local wild horse ranges are nearby.
