Rattin Campground sits along the banks of Rock Creek beneath the Beartooth Range, seven miles south of Red Lodge off the Beartooth Highway. The terrain is forested with aspen and pine, providing habitat for deer, elk, and grizzly bears. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills, alongside accessible vault toilets and drinking water. Rock Creek offers rainbow trout fishing, while Greenough Lake is eight miles away for paddling. Mountain biking and hiking trails are nearby, including the Parkside National Recreation Trail and Hellroaring and Lake Fork Trailheads.

Getting there: Rattin Campground is located 60 miles northeast of Cooke City, MT and the northeast gate to Yellowstone National Park. It is 7 miles south of Red Lodge, MT. On U.S. Highway 212, turn off at Rattin Campground Road (Forest Road 379; formerly Eastside Road) and proceed 0.5 miles to the campground entrance on the left. THE SOUTH BRIDGE IS OUT!
