Afterbay Campground in MT -- Campground & RV Camping in Montana

Located on the south shore of Afterbay Lake near Fort Smith, this year-round campground features 22 back-in sites for RVs and tents. Every campsite includes electric and water hookups, a fire ring, and a picnic table. On-site amenities include composting vault toilets, with an RV dump station situated across the road near the Headquarters building.

Getting there: Take 313 through the town of Fort Smith, MT and follow the brown and white sign to Afterbay Campground. It will be on the right side of 313 just past the NPS Headquarters building.
