Gal-13 Beaverhead Cabin is a 1905 historic structure managed by the Bureau of Land Management, sitting on the banks of the Beaverhead River about 14 miles south of Dillon, Montana, across from Gallagher Creek and Gallagher Mountain. The cabin sleeps up to eight on two futons and four bunk beds. Facilities include a wood stove, wood cook stove, propane stove/oven, light fixtures, small refrigerator, basic utensils, an outdoor outhouse, and a non-potable water hand pump. The river offers direct access to trout fishing and waterfowl hunting, with nearby mountain trails for hiking and 4WD touring.
