Setting
Wallace Creek Campground sits along the shore of Enid Lake in the dense forests of northern Mississippi. The campground offers 101 sites featuring full hookups, alongside modern flush toilets, a large group picnic shelter, picnic tables with grills, a playground, and an interpretive trail. Direct water access is provided by on-site boat ramps, giving boaters and anglers easy entry to the 16,000-acre reservoir known for record-setting white crappie, bass, and catfish. Shoreline hiking trails wind through the surrounding 44,000 acres of woods, and Memphis is an hour away.
Getting there: From I-55, take exit 233 and head east on Country Road 36. After about 2.5 miles follow the signs to the campground.
