Setting
Plum Point Campground sits along the northern banks of Enid Lake in the forested hills of northern Mississippi. Designed for primitive stays without hookups, the facility offers eight campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, grill table, charcoal grill, fire ring, and lantern post. Site amenities include an accessible comfort station with flush toilets, five picnic sites, a playground, a swimming beach, and a nearby boat ramp for lake access.
Getting there: From I-55, take exit 233 and head east on CR 36/Enid Dam Road. Travel north approximately 3.1 miles. Turn right onto Chapel Hill Road at intersection and travel approximately 1.3 miles. Turn east on Pope Water Valley Road and after 4 miles turn south onto Plum Point Road and continue into the campground appoximately 2.3 miles.
