Persimmon Hill is a lakeside facility located in the forests along Enid Lake. The area contains 72 campsites with full hookups and flush toilets, alongside four large group picnic shelters, picnic tables, grills, and playgrounds. Aquatic amenities include a dedicated swimming beach and two boat ramps for lake access. Hiking and biking trails wind right from the campground along the shoreline and through the surrounding woodland.
Getting there: From Interstate 55, take exit 233 onto County Road 36 south, cross the dam. Turn onto County Road 34 and continue 1 mile. following the signs into the campground and day uses area.
