Outlet Channel Recreation Area is a day-use park located below Enid Dam, set among native pine and oak woods. The site features 27 individual picnic spots with grills, three large group shelters, three flush-toilet comfort stations, a playground, and two fish cleaning stations. Anglers and pedestrians use the bank fishing areas, accessible fishing pier, and a half-mile fitness trail. Nearby facilities offer boat ramps, sports fields, and swim beaches.
Getting there: Take exit 233 off of Interstate 55 toward Enid Lake. Go east on County Road 36 for .6 miles. Take a slight right onto County Road 188 and you have arrived at the destination.
