Ford's Well Recreation Area is an equestrian facility located on the south side of Enid Lake amidst pine and oak forest. The campground offers 18 sites with 70-foot RV pads, full hookups, fire rings, grills, and horse hitching rails. Amenities include a shower house with flush toilets, a dump station, horse shower, picnic shelter, playground, and early 1900s historic structures, including a well gazebo and log cabin. The site provides direct access to the 20.8-mile Spyglass Hill Trail, a hilly loop used by horseback riders and hikers.
Getting there: Take Exit 227 off of U.S. Interstate 55 Highway toward Water Valley, MS. Go east on Mississippi Highway 32 for 6.9 miles. Turn left onto County Road 41 which will turn into County Road 557 for .8 miles and the destination is on the right.
