Pat's Bluff Recreation Area is a 15-site campground set in the pine and hardwood hills along the southern shoreline of Sardis Lake. Named for a prominent sandstone bluff, the site sits along a 32,000-acre reservoir known for crappie, bass, and catfish fishing, as well as sailing and kayaking. On-site facilities include 15 campsites equipped with water and electric hookups, flush toilets, showers, a dump station, a boat ramp, and a group picnic shelter that accommodates up to 50 people. The area is located off Highway 278, roughly 20 minutes from Oxford and 10 minutes from Batesville.
Getting there: From Interstate 55 take the Hwy. 278 east exit at Batesville, MS. Follow the road approximately 10 miles and take a left onto BlackJack Road. Follow Blackjack Road approximately 3/4 of a mile and turn right onto Sardis Lake Drive. Follow Sardis Lake Drive for approximately 6 miles and the road dead ends straight at Pat's Bluff Recreation Area. The road to the left leads to the picnic shelter and the boat ramp.
