River Road Park in MO -- Campground & RV Camping

River Road Park is located on the Black River directly below the Clearwater Lake dam, where spring redbuds, dogwoods, and hawthorns line the banks. Most campsites include water and electric hookups, supported by hot showers, a dump station, a playground, a boat ramp, and three reservable group picnic shelters with power. The Black River Hike and Bike Trail originates in the park, connecting to the Blue Heron and Bottomland interpretive paths. Campers use the river and nearby bluff-lined lake for canoeing, swimming, and fishing for local species, while bald eagles nest year-round nearby.

Getting there: From Piedmont, MO, follow state highway HH for 6 miles. Campground will be located just below Clearwater Lake Dam. Follow signs into campground.
