People's Creek Recreation Area is situated in a cove on Wappapello Lake in the Ozark foothills. The facility is split into two loops: the lower section has 38 waterfront sites with 50-amp electric and water hookups plus a sandy boat-mooring area, while the upper loop offers 19 full-hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer. On-site facilities include a two-lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock, an accessible fishing pier, a swimming beach, a picnic shelter, and access to the Lake View Trail. The surrounding 8,400-acre lake supports year-round boating, kayaking, and fishing.
