Old Greenville Recreation Area sits on the St. Francis River at the northern end of Wappapello Lake, built on the historic site of Old Greenville. The campground provides 106 sites with full hookups for electric, water, and sewer, along with showers and playgrounds. Day-use facilities include 14 picnic sites, play courts, a shelter, and a boat ramp with a dock. On-site trails include Memory Lane, which winds past historic foundations, and the 3-mile Greenville Trail connecting to modern Greenville. The surrounding 45,000-acre public expanse offers fishing, hunting, and river access.
