Setting
River Run Park sits along the water in south-central Missouri, positioned just below the Powersite Dam on Bull Shoals Lake. Surrounded by hardwood trees, cedar glades, and rocky bluffs, the park contains 32 campsites equipped with water and electric hookups. On-site amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, a playground, and direct lake access for boating, watersports, and fishing for spotted bass and crappie. The area offers bird watching opportunities and sits within driving distance of the Jones Point State Wildlife Management Area and Branson.
Getting there: From Mountain Home, AR, travel north on State Route 5 for 24 miles to US 160. Follow 160 west for 45 miles to Forsyth, MO. Take a left on Hyw 76 W and the park entrance will be approximately one mile ahead on your right.
