Setting
Moonshine Beach Recreation Area features the only sandy swim beach on Table Rock Lake, nestled among oak and hickory forests in the Ozark Mountains. The day-use park includes a large reservable group picnic shelter for up to 75 guests, flush toilets, a boat ramp, a courtesy dock, and a volleyball court. The 2-mile Table Rock Lakeshore Trail begins at the adjacent Dewey Short Visitor Center and winds along the shoreline toward Table Rock State Park Marina. The surrounding lake offers open waters for boating, fishing, and scuba diving.
Getting there: From Branson, Missouri, take Highway 165 to Table Rock Dam. The park is just north of the dam.
